Youth for Sewa is an unpaid summer internship connecting dynamic individuals from diverse backgrounds with NGOs in India and the UK. It’s a collaboration between Sewa UK and National Hindu Students Forum (NHSF). Youth for Sewa cultivates and develops a spirit of sewa (selfless service) and inspires individuals to work for the wellbeing of humanity. Projects are available in health care, education, environmental awareness, women’s empowerment, rural development, social upliftment and much more. Through selfless service, the interns engage in a transformative experience.
The interview, orientation days and mentoring are a key part of the YFS journey. We create a platform that nurtures you through personal challenges whilst facilitating group learning along the way. You’ll have an individual mentor dedicated to your growth throughout your journey. The 6-week internship is just the start. Upon your return, we hope you’ll be inspired to engage in local community projects so you can continue your self-development whilst contributing to the world around you.
Are you a young and dynamic individual (18+)?
Are you ready to challenge your perceptions and beliefs?
Are you looking to push your boundaries and better yourself?
If yes, what are you waiting for? Email us today by filling out the form under the ‘contact us’ tab. Please note, applications are open from 1st October to 31st December.
NB: Due to the ongoing pandemic, our interns aren’t going to India. Instead, they’re volunteering with NGOs based in the UK.
